Our Landhotel is the right starting point for your 3- or 5-day hut hike at the Wilder Kaiser. With around 2,500 metres of altitude and 33 kilometres in length, it is exactly the right option for ambitious mountaineers. Many further hearty mountain tours and via ferratas turn the Wilder Kaiser Mountains into a paradise for mountaineers.

Guided tours

The best way to go on a tour is under the supervision of a trained guide. In the Bergsport competence centre in Ellmau (a ski school in winter) you get many tips and recommendations and can book a mountain guide for a tour.

Going the vertical way - experience the rocks in the Wilder Kaiser Mountains

From the best location right to the mountains: The Föhrenhof is the hotel that is closest to the Wilder Kaiser Mountains so that alpine adventures can start right on the doorstep. Numerous sport climbing routes wind up the Wilder Kaiser Mountains. Here everyone finds a suitable route, from an easy beginners’ trail to the highest level of difficulty. Near Ellmau there are several climbing gardens: the “Kaiser” climbing garden as well as the Multerkarwand climbing garden, the Schleier waterfall and the Wilderer Kanzel. Here you can try your strength on already set routes.
